Construction of the Friedman-Mincer Building was completed circa 1911 at Texas Corner, the intersection of Garrison Avenue, Towson Avenue and North 11th Street. Because the road was part of a route to Fort Towson in Texas, the intersection became known as Texas Corner. The three-story structure is made of white, tiled brick. |
