Electric Park, circa 1916, was built at a cost of $100,000 with the grand opening in the summer of 1908. It had rides, an auditorium, roller coaster and a pavillion. In 1920, there were 5 million paid fares on 58 trolley cars. The park was built to encourage riders to the park for  entertainment and of course to generate business and revenue for the streetcar line. It all came to an end in 1933.
