U.S. Courthouse, left and circa 1890, and U.S. Jail were where Judge Isaac Parker presided over the federal district court for western Arkansas and the Indian territory from the mid-1870s to the mid-1890s. The courthouse is shown much as it appeared when it was a building for the second military fort while the jail wing was added during the court period. |
