Looking south, probably from the rooftop of a building on the north side of Garrison Avenue, Union Station circa 1911 in the 700 block of Rogers Avenue is clearly visible. Take a close look at the buildings in the neighborhood of the train station that are no longer there. Union Station, aka Kansas City Southern Station, was built as a rail passenger facility in 1911 and demolished in 1966.
