| This hand-colored picture postcard depicts Garrison Avenue circa 1900. Notice the old Hotel Main, the third building from the right on the south side of the Avenue. Across from it is the onion-domed American National Bank building, later the Fort Smith Chamber of Commerce. In the center, behind the electric trolley, the silhouette of the Immaculate Conception Church also is visible. The point of view appears to be from somewhere in the 500 block of the street. | |||||||||
